Poetry Tuesday: The language that unites us is the language of love, respect, tolerance and freedom.

A selection of three quatrains by the Persian mathematician, astrologer, philosopher and poet Omar Khayyām (1048-1131) will be recited in five different languages by native speakers. Over the centuries, these quatrains have been translated into numerous languages. They have inspired many painters, composers, novelists and film-makers.
