Pumpkin carving

Tuesday 28th October, 2014

We have to thank Kay Stone for demonstrating the art of Pumpkin carving.

Most of us have attempted this, with various levels of success, however it was good to see how it should be done, especially when given the new, and modern tools to do the job. There was much good humour, and many questions were asked.

The tables, decorated by Brunhilde, conjured up a suitable Halloween atmosphere, and the fact that we were able to enjoy a serving of Pumpkin soup, and fresh roasted pumpkin seeds, added to the enjoyment of the morning.
